    This event, with free entrance and hosted by Jong en Vrij Rotterdam, is held right in the heart of the city in the beautiful venue Annabel, just a short three minute walk from Rotterdam Central Station.

    Got Kids? Great! There will also be a fun an free to attend kids program in the HipHopHuis, right nextdoor to Annabel. They enjoy. You enjoy.

    The featuring artists:

    SHARON KIPS
    Sharon Thera is the winner of the first Dutch edition of The X Factor. This television show is known worldwide as a competition where only the best can win. And she did. Sharon was constantly praised highly throughout the show. Sharon will be performing live during Sunday Jazz, taking you on a unique musical tour.

    JONNY & THE JAZZUITS
    Their debut album Psalms, Hymns & Spiritual Songs released in March 2015, was nominated for a Silver Dove, the Dutch version of the international GMA Dove Awards. Companioned by only the best musicians, called Jonny & the Jazzuits, Jonny, his saxophone and deep warm voice will make your sunday morning unforgettable.

    JAN WILLEM VAN DELFT
    The pianist Jan Willem van Delft will make your jaw drop. In a good way! In the J-Way. Because that’s the name of this phenomenal artist. His technique and smooth style combined with his presence is guaranteed for an awesome time. He has featured as jazz pianist next to acclaimed artistst, like Denise Jannah and in television shows like Hour of Power. He also has his own Jan Willem van Delft Trio, to be enjoyed on their own album ‘All That Hymns’.

    CARLOS MATOS
    Cape Verdean pianist/keyboarder/composer/arranger Carlos Matos is a virtuoso and true musical ambassador of Cape Verdean music in Europe. He is the musical director and pianist of ‘Orchestra Nacional De Cabo Verde’ and he co-founded CaboCubaJazz. His playing is deeply rooted in the song tradition of his home islands, combined with Cuban-style piano playing and strong influences by the likes of Herbie Hancock and Gonzalo Rubalcaba. On his highly acclaimed CD “Caboverdianismo” he fuses Jazz and Cape Verdean music.
